Tsuzumigaura Beach, Mie Prefecture
A sandy beach located in the southern part of Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, about 1 km south of Shirako Port.
It is a long strip of sand formed by the Horikiri River and has been known as a bathing area since the Taisho era (1912-1926).
The area is covered with pine trees and has been selected as one of the 100 best places for white sand and green pine trees in Japan. Cited by Kotobank.
